Age, documents, the entrance examination and the interview.
Documents
Bring these with the form.
- Completed application form
- Two recent passport photographs
- Birth certificate or age declaration
- Primary school leaving certificate or testimonial (JSS 1)
- Last two terms' report cards
- Transfer letter from the previous school (transfer applicants)
- Immunisation record
Entrance examination
Three papers, one morning.

Interview
A short conversation with the applicant and a parent or guardian, covering interests, reading habits and the school's expectations.
JSS 1
Main entry point. Applicants should be in Primary 6 or have completed it, and be 10 – 12 years old by September.
JSS 2 – SSS 2
Transfer places where vacancies exist. A transfer letter and the last two report cards are required.
SSS 3
Not normally admitted, to protect continuity of WASSCE preparation.
